01The terms, plainly
Read before you activateWhat qualifies, and what keeps it valid.
Eligibility
The vehicle must be no more than 8 years old from its year of manufacture, and the odometer must read under 140,000 km at the moment the warranty is activated.
Warranty period
12 months or 25,000 km, whichever comes first, measured from the activation date and mileage recorded in the booklet.
Cooling-off
A 7-day and 500 km cooling-off period applies from the coverage start. Claims can be made once that period has passed.
Servicing requirement
Routine servicing must be carried out at a Guard My Ride panel workshop: every 10,000 km or 6 months on fully synthetic oil, or every 7,000 km or 4 months on semi-synthetic — whichever comes first.
No fees
No processing fee and no excess charge for filing a claim.
Repeat claims
Until the total aggregate is used up, a component that has been claimed before can be claimed again if it is proven faulty.

The car decides, not the customer.
Eligibility depends on the age and mileage of the specific car. Ask us which programme a car on the floor qualifies for and we will tell you before you commit — it is printed on the booklet that comes with the vehicle.
